Elo Roofing completed a full roofing job for us. Every detail of the project was handled in an exceptional manner. Robert Osborne was exceptional in discussing the project with us and really took the time to educate us on every aspect of a roofing job. Victoria Rodriguez, the project manager, kept us fully informed before and during the project process. Highly recommend this company
Update to initial review….
I need to post the below update, an update to initial 5-star review that was posted a few days after project completion.
Please note that this review has absolutely nothing to do with the installation or workmanship. This was great. My issue is with the aggressive sales tactics and after installation responses. Basically I believe that I was conned into getting a replacement roof that was not needed. I have reached out multiple times to the company and the only response that I received was an unpleasant one from the initial salesman.
Elo replaced my roof on August 20th 2026. The roofing debacle started in September 2025 to address a leak in my bathroom ceiling. I was told then that my roof was not leaking and that the leak was coming from the venting pipes. We paid $1500 to address the issue.
July 2026 the same spot was leaking again. We were then told that our entire roof had over 60% shingle disintegration which could possibly be defective shingles, and that we needed a new roof. I asked why the leak was in the same spot and was told that the leak was coming from the roof. My roof was only 11 years old.
I specifically asked if a roof replacement will take care of the leak and was told yes. I was given a huge sales pitch about GAF shingles: that the shingles produced by this company suffer premature shingle disintegration and that they still cannot fix that issue, that I may have received defective shingles at installation, that I can get the roof replaced with shingles with a 50-year warranty, etc.
One MONTH later, the initial spot was still leaking and another spot developed in the kitchen. Another company person was sent out and he found the cause of the leak. It was NEVER the roof. The leak was caused by condensation in the air conditioning ducts in the attic. He told us that there was a lot of water in the ducts and the ducts not the roof were leaking.
This was the issue from the very beginning. The only reason it took months for the leak to reappear after the first ‘fix’ was that the weather started cooling down and the AC was not used as much until this year’s summer heat.
I honestly feel that I was conned into getting a $17K roof. I am retired, and retired or not $17K is a huge expense. The roof that was replaced was only 11 years old and I am sure it would have lasted at least another four to five years. Roofing companies in Florida are desperate for roofing jobs since Florida has been spared of major storms since 2024. I am assuming that this is one reason for aggressive sales pitches.
All I am asking from them is a fair reimbursement for the AC and ceiling repair ($1K) which is the additional funds I had to spend to address the real issue and they have flatly refused to do so. I have spoken to their Project Manager, received one unpleasant call from the salesman who insisted that my roof was leaking, emailed them, received one message from their Sales Manager Ryan who has not returned any of my calls.
This company prides themselves on being an honest company which is one of the reasons I chose them. Apparently this is not so.Their response is that they do not do home inspections, but if they had honestly told us that there were no roof leaks, then we would have taken the appropriate actions ourselves to accurately diagnose and resolve the issue. I have never left an unsatisfactory review for any company ever before because my belief is that if I cannot speak well of someone or something, then say nothing at all. This post is to try and educate anyone in a situation like this to please be diligent in your research before being pushed into unnecessary expenses.
