Types of Tile Roofs We Install

Tile roofs cover a broad range of products including clay tiles, concrete tiles, and synthetic tiles. The tile roofing specialists at Elo Roofing will be thrilled to walk you through the options and decide which one is best for your Florida home.

Clay Tile

Clay tiles have been around for centuries and are one of the most traditional roofing choices on the market. This material is made from clay that is baked into durable tiles to provide a roof system that offers exceptional protection against the elements and money-saving insulation for your home. Clay tiles come in a wide variety of shapes that you can choose from to get exactly the look you want for your roof.

Concrete Tile

Concrete tiles are manufactured from a mixture of sand, cement, and water that is molded under heat and pressure to create a durable and highly customizable tile. Concrete can be molded into different shapes and styles and painted which makes them an excellent choice if you’re looking for a long-lasting roof that can match any aesthetic.

Synthetic Tile

One problem with traditional clay tiles and concrete tiles is their weight. This can make them difficult to transport and install and may require additional structural support to be added to your home. With synthetic tiles you don’t need to worry about that! These tiles are lightweight and easily installed without sacrificing any of the durability or beauty of natural tiles.

Why Choose Tile Roofing?

When you’re trying to decide which roofing system will work best for your home you’ll want to know the benefits of the roofs you’re looking into. Tile roofing offers a wide range of advantages that homeowners can count on.

Low Maintenance

Once your tile roof is installed it’s a very low-maintenance option. There are very few maintenance tasks that are required to keep your roof in great condition aside from keeping it clean and scheduling prompt repairs if you happen to notice any damage.

Longevity & Durability

When you opt for a tile roof you can count a roof that will stand the test of time and can hold up to the often harsh, local weather conditions. A well-installed and maintained tile roof can last upwards of 50 years and is resistant to pests, fire, rain, and high winds.

Sustainability

Is being environmentally conscious at the top of your list for a new roof. Tile roofs are an environmentally friendly material that have little landfill contribution at the end of their long service lives.

Elo Roofing is your local Florida and Colorado, roofing company committed to providing the community with only the best in tile roofing. Dustin Richards inspected our roof this past week,I believe on 3/13/25. Three other companies also inspected it during the last3-4 weeks. Dustin was the most professional & he took more pictures than any of the others & explained in greater detailthe condition of my 25 year old TileLife cement tile roof.I will continue to use his services in the future because I am convinced he is honest & has great integrity.

I wanted to thank Elo Roofing for the outstanding job on my roof after storm damage. Chris Clarkson did a great job explaining to me the process and giving me very accurate information to start roofing repairs. Nicole was an excellent liason at their office handling correspondance and business. Tim Taylor handled the project completion. Once again, very professional, accurate, and on time and on schedule. Everyone I delt with at Elo Roofing helped to make a difficult process smooth. The new roof looks great. Elo's crew did a great job, and left the worksite clean and in good order. Would absolutely recommend and work with again in future. Hope this helps. 😃👍

They were supposed to do a repair on our roof due to leakage, after they looked at it. They never scheduled. After calling them several times with no response, and waiting on them, we finally found a great company that got the job done.
