Local Commercial Roof Replacement Company in Jacksonville

The roof of a commercial building is vital to its structure. Like all roofs, however, commercial roofs can sustain damage, wear and tear due to aging, or weaken as a result of various factors. When this happens, your roof becomes more vulnerable to escalating damage. While it is often possible to repair damage without replacement, there comes the point in every roof’s lifespan when a full replacement makes more sense than endless repairs.

When is it Time for a Commercial Roof Replacement?

We as your commercial roofing contractor don’t push clients toward commercial roof replacement versus commercial roofing repair. Instead, we thoroughly inspect your building and your current roof to ensure that if we’re recommending a full replacement, it’s the option that makes the most sense for you practically and economically.

Here at Elo Roofing, every member of our team of roofing contractors is highly trained and experienced in our industry. We know how to read the signs of easily repairable damage versus the indications that it’s time to invest in a full replacement. There are certain red flags that we look for, including:

Water Infiltration

This will be visible within the building in the form of leaks and water marks and stains. Often this is a sign of external roof damage, which if left unchecked, could cause even further damage to your business’ property. While this may be possible to remedy with commercial roof repairs, depending on the extent of the damage, it could signal the need for a full commercial roof replacement.

Damaged Roof Membrane

Harsh weather or general wear and tear could cause irreparable damage to commercial roofs. This includes lifting, curling or cracking of the roof’s membrane, all of which exposes the property to external elements, which can pose a hazard to your staff and business equipment.

Age

Unfortunately this is a factor none of us can get away from. Turns out roofs also have a finite lifespan too, which is made shorter if regular maintenance and repairs were not adhered to. Repairs can only add so many years on to the life of your commercial roof, but sometimes a commercial roof replacement is inevitable.

Of course, there are also many smaller tells that might not be obvious to the untrained eye, but our team of roofing contractor will catch them! A problematic roof can escalate very quickly into damage that affects your entire building, so give us a call as soon as possible.

The Difference Between Replacing and Repairing Your Roof

At Elo Roofing, we as your roofing contractor perform both commercial roof replacement and commercial roof repair. Commercial roofing repair is performed for small problems like a single leak or a handful of missing shingles. The tasks are simple but necessary. Commercial roof replacement is different, in that we remove your existing roof or roofing system and replace it with a new one, to ensure that it’s safe and operating optimally.

No matter the style of roof system you have from metal roofing, flat to single-ply membrane, or the materials used in its construction, we can take a look and reliably figure out whether a repair or a replacement is in your best interest. Whether your roof is large or small, modern or aging, sloped or flat, we as your roofing contractor have the knowledge and expertise you need to guide your decision.

Buyers BEWARE..... No follow-up after multiple attempts to contact them, and a missed appointment with no call or effort to reschedule. Unacceptable, Elo Roofing. They originally came out to repair a roof leak and patched the area. Unfortunately, the roof continued to leak. When we called them back, they tested it by spraying the roof with our hose and said everything was fine. We were also told the discoloration on the ceiling was from the original leak. However, we had cleaned and bleached that area back to normal. Fast forward, and we’re trying AGAIN to get them to come out and assess the repair. Not only is the roof still leaking, but the shingles weren’t even placed in the correct area. The leak is circled in the photo, and the repair is… well, we’ll let you be the judge. Things happen, but communication and follow-through are basic parts of running a business. We’re hoping the Better Business Bureau can help get this resolved since we haven’t had any luck getting a response.

ELO was very easy and helpful fixing a leak at a vent stack on roof, and while they were at it also did an overall roof tuneup. Victoria got things going and Dustin took great care of us. Good people!

ELO Roofing services provides excellent roofing that I wasn't aware of given past exprience with roofers. Victoria answered the phone when I called; she was, freindly and proffessional. We set a meeting with the Project Mngr., C.J. H. C.J. was a gentleman and ready to find out what was causing my roof leak; he beagn detailed inspections in the attic and on top of roof. My problem wasn't the nineteen shingles replaced by a roofer. It was the vent tube cover was erroded. ELO Roofing estimate and reair time was fast, professional and efficient. Now I am happy homeowner, again. I am glad that I found ELO Roofing, for any of my furture roofing concerns. It is a company I trust and value that will to do the right thing the first time.

Elo Roofing completed a full roofing job for us. Every detail of the project was handled in an exceptional manner. Robert Osborne was exceptional in discussing the project with us and really took the time to educate us on every aspect of a roofing job. Victoria Rodriguez, the project manager, kept us fully informed before and during the project process. Highly recommend this company Update to initial review…. I need to post the below update, an update to initial 5-star review that was posted a few days after project completion. Please note that this review has absolutely nothing to do with the installation or workmanship. This was great. My issue is with the aggressive sales tactics and after installation responses. Basically I believe that I was conned into getting a replacement roof that was not needed. I have reached out multiple times to the company and the only response that I received was an unpleasant one from the initial salesman. Elo replaced my roof on August 20th 2026. The roofing debacle started in September 2025 to address a leak in my bathroom ceiling. I was told then that my roof was not leaking and that the leak was coming from the venting pipes. We paid $1500 to address the issue. July 2026 the same spot was leaking again. We were then told that our entire roof had over 60% shingle disintegration which could possibly be defective shingles, and that we needed a new roof. I asked why the leak was in the same spot and was told that the leak was coming from the roof. My roof was only 11 years old. I specifically asked if a roof replacement will take care of the leak and was told yes. I was given a huge sales pitch about GAF shingles: that the shingles produced by this company suffer premature shingle disintegration and that they still cannot fix that issue, that I may have received defective shingles at installation, that I can get the roof replaced with shingles with a 50-year warranty, etc. One MONTH later, the initial spot was still leaking and another spot developed in the kitchen. Another company person was sent out and he found the cause of the leak. It was NEVER the roof. The leak was caused by condensation in the air conditioning ducts in the attic. He told us that there was a lot of water in the ducts and the ducts not the roof were leaking. This was the issue from the very beginning. The only reason it took months for the leak to reappear after the first ‘fix’ was that the weather started cooling down and the AC was not used as much until this year’s summer heat. I honestly feel that I was conned into getting a $17K roof. I am retired, and retired or not $17K is a huge expense. The roof that was replaced was only  11 years old and I am sure it would have lasted at least another four to five years. Roofing companies in Florida are desperate for roofing jobs since Florida has been spared of major storms since 2024. I am assuming that this is one reason for aggressive sales pitches. All I am asking from them is a fair reimbursement for the AC and ceiling repair ($1K) which is the additional funds I had to spend to address the real issue and they have flatly refused to do so. I have spoken to their Project Manager, received one unpleasant call from the salesman who insisted that my roof was leaking, emailed them, received one message from their Sales Manager Ryan who has not returned any of my calls. This company prides themselves on being an honest company which is one of the reasons I chose them. Apparently this is not so.Their response is that they do not do home inspections, but if they had honestly told us that there were no roof leaks, then we would have taken the appropriate actions ourselves to accurately diagnose and resolve the issue. I have never left an unsatisfactory review for any company ever before because my belief is that if I cannot speak well of someone or something, then say nothing at all. This post is to try and educate anyone in a situation like this to please be diligent in your research before being pushed into unnecessary expenses.
